Dio orchestra
dreams of centralizing
opera in society
and
popularizing
classical music.
As a social enterprise, Dio Orchestra (Daegu International Opera Orchestra), which is composed mainly of musicians who share the will to centralize the social culture of opera and popularize classical music, is composed of young people who have studied abroad and have a wide range of experiences and capabilities.
Founded as a specialized opera orchestra differentiated from existing music organizations, Dio Orchestra has a wide repertoire of opera performances ranging from classics to contemporary works, and as an orchestra with the highest level of expertise, it plans to further develop its capabilities for the future of Korean opera as well as the creation of local performing arts culture.
Furthermore, we will continue to strive to provide quality cultural services to the underprivileged through the combination of various contents (tango, ballet, waltz, etc.) that the public can relate to, while contributing to the expansion and popularization of classical music and opera.
